1. Key Definitions
“Business Customer” refers to any purchaser acting for business purposes.
“Consumer” means an individual buying for personal, non-business use.
“CH Africa” stands for Consumables Hardware 4 Africa, also called “we” or “us” here.
“Catalogue” is the list of goods and services we offer.
“Force Majeure” covers events outside our control, such as natural disasters, regulatory changes, or third-party strikes, impacting our ability to fulfill obligations.
“Normal Working Hours” are from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
“Working days” are weekdays except for public holidays.
2. Orders
All sales contracts incorporate these terms, which override any alternative terms from the customer.
Business orders cannot be canceled due to rapid dispatch; consumer cancellations follow the Consumer Protection Act.
Orders are subject to our acceptance and product availability; we may decline any order.
Customers must provide accurate purchase details and are responsible for orders made with valid user credentials.
Payment cards used must be authorized and have sufficient funds.
Calls and electronic communications may be recorded for training.
3. Pricing
Prices are set at order acceptance and include VAT as required.
We reserve the right to change prices and adjust for currency fluctuations.
All payments must be made in full, without deductions for taxes or duties.
4. Delivery, Risk, and Title
We strive to meet agreed delivery dates but are not liable for delays beyond our control.
Business customers may cancel orders if delivery exceeds 30 days past the agreed date, provided written notice is given before delivery.
Damage or shortages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery for business customers.
Customers must accept delivery during normal hours; risk passes upon delivery.
Ownership transfers only after full payment is received.
If delivery cannot be accepted, we may store, resell, or re-deliver at the customer’s cost.
Proof of delivery is available upon written request within three months.
Customers should verify delivery contents and note discrepancies or damage on the delivery receipt.
5. Payment
Payment is due upon shipment unless credit terms are approved (typically 30 days from invoice).
Late payments incur interest and an administration fee.
Accepted payment methods include VISA, MasterCard, Instant EFT, and bank transfer.
Card transactions are securely processed by PayGate; no card details are stored on our website.
We are responsible for all aspects of transactions, including sales, customer service, dispute resolution, and delivery.
6. Product Information
We aim to supply goods as described but may deliver items with minor specification changes from the manufacturer.
If an ordered product is unavailable, we may offer an equivalent or better alternative at no extra cost; customers can refuse and request a refund.
Display products may have minor pixel defects, which are industry-accepted.
All quoted page yields comply with ISO standards.
7. Trademarks
Product trade names and marks may not always indicate the actual manufacturer but rather compatibility with certain systems or devices.
8. Returns and Warranty
Consumers have specific return rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
Most products come with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty.
For business purchases, implied warranties are excluded except as expressly stated.
Services provided are warranted for 30 days after completion, covering only defects not caused by third parties.
Goods are not sold on a trial basis; suitability should be checked before ordering.
Specially discounted or customized goods are non-returnable unless defective.
Unwanted goods may be returned with prior written agreement, unopened and in resalable condition, subject to a handling fee.
Defective goods can be returned within 14 days for refund or replacement, subject to inspection.
Returns must include the invoice/order number and be properly packaged.
We are not liable for damage during return transit; use insured and trackable shipping.
If goods are found to be fault-free after inspection, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
Warranty claims must follow the manufacturer’s process; we may refer customers directly to the manufacturer.
